When you open DayTimer for the first time, open the message box and enter "extend." The stack will create a three month supply of cards for you.
DayTimer will always open to the current date. To advance the date, click on the tear-off tab in the upper right-hand corner. To go backward, click the dog-ear in the upper left. Note that the pages keep flipping as long as the mouse button is held down.
There are two new icons in Daytimer. The arrow-card icon will take you directly to the date of your choice. The "today" icon will bring you back to today's date.
The "do" list and the calendar are stored separately from the date book for a reason. When you reach the end of the stack, choose "New Stack" from the File menu. When the new stack is created, the extend routine will automatically be invoked. Save the old book on a floppy disk as a permanent record of your activities. "Filing off" the old book will not affect the "do" list or the calendar.
